In case you've forgotten the details, Dumbledore's sister Ariana was assaulted by three Muggle boys who saw her doing magic. Because of this trauma, Ariana refuses to use her powers and becomes magically unstable. 3/4 through The Deathly Hallows and I've just realised Ariana Dumbledore was an Obscurus.
